     What is a flood : A flood is when there is a long period of time with a lot of precipitation, especially on dry land.

                What are the consequences of floods: There can be many consequences from floods, such as death from drowning. Another is crop loss, which can lead  to an increase in the price of certain foods. The consequences are not always negative, for example floods can transport minerals onto the flooded lands.

      Where do floods usually occur: Floods usually occur in places where there is a lot of precipitation    the place is close to sea or a large body of water, or a place were it is under sea level.

          Describe a current example of floods in agricultural territory in detail: A current example of Floods is in west Africa  (Mali, Senegal, etc.), where there was 150 percent more rain from July to the end of August, than there usually is in that period. More than 7,000 farms were flooded, but for most of the occupants of those areas, the water was a blessing  for their crops since they don't usually  see  a lot of water in those regions water going to .
         
            How did humans adapt to this flood: Americans payed the people who lived in the flood regions 300$ to evacuate and find new housing.  In total they payed 6000 people to evacuate their homes, which in total is approximately 1800000$.
